Lacipyt

While used frequently in Ireland as a word filler paired with the word "hellhole" that emotes mild frustrations or regret similarly to "dagnabbit" or "dinkleberg", the word "Lacipyt" is Welsh in origin, referencing a character in a Welsh folktale that described a nocturnal beast with a paperbag for a head who feeds on its prey by altering their brain chemistry through conductive metal, making its victims violent to the people they're the closest to. Typically, after funeral services for the lost families were done for the day, legends say that the Lacipyt mercilessly feeds on their brain and storms back into the ground. That is why today, sometimes you'd find graveholes in Wales and Southeastern Ireland with a comically large pit of lava underneath, to prevent the Lacipyt from consuming their deceased family's brains.
