Jenna Syndrome

A catastrophic, chronic illness that affects all areas of the nervous system, that leads to severe decline in empathy, poor quality of life, and increases in impulsivity and attention-seeking. The DSM (Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) V does not include this in their addition, but see other variations of personality disorders, including... 1. Schizoid Personality Disorder: characterized by a lack of interest in social relationships, a tendency towards a solitary or sheltered lifestyle, secretiveness, emotional coldness, detachment, and apathy. OR 2. Dissociative Personality Disorder: characterized by a person's identity fragmenting into two or more distinct personality states. People with this condition are often victims of severe abuse of psychoactive substances. AND at least 3 of the following symptoms: Emotional insecurity, social climbing, and psychopathic behavior.
