A term, often slang, referring to a southern (southern states in the USA) person, often male. The term "hick" is now considered racist, and is often used against intellectually-impaired white people, regardless of their location (north or south). This term is also used against racists, understandably. But other than that, the word "hick" is starting to become perverted into several meanings.
