'Gumpshot', sometimes referred to as 'Gimpshot' is a name given to a person who FAILS when shooting a basketball. It usually involves an incredibly gay flick of the wrist on release, followed by the sound of the ball hitting the rim and posession changing to the other team, while the 'Gumpshooter' stands there soaking in his own self-loathing as the other teams scores off the rebound.
