goac
Acronym for Ghost on a Cart. Allows a Ghost server to be used in a mobile fashion by placing it on a cart and moved to a computer lab when needed. This method is often used if there is an interruption in network communication between the affected classroom and the central server. This gives the operator a higher degree of flexibility over the traditional client/server architecture. The idea of a "GOAC" was originally used to image computers in large bodies of water near eastern Russia. Also known as "doac," or "Deployment server on a Cart."
