In certain plant cells such as grain and grapes adding yeast during the fermentation process can cause it to create desirable alcohol such as wine and different types of hard alcohol or beer. It should be noted that drinking alcohol from grain plain is not practical and it must be added to a substance to create an edible drink e.g. vodka
