The large scale after school sports programs that kids now are made a part of. This includes soccer, baseball, hockey, gymnastics, ballet and other activities that children participate in after school. This addresses the over scheduling of children and the parents who have to shuttle them to all these events with the misbegotten hope that their child is "gifted" and we surely go pro, or at least get a scholarship to a post-secondary school.
