emo Tee
a style of music formed in 1980's and 1990's with clean guitar for the verse, and heavy distortion during the chorus. the lyrics usually are emotional, having to do with emotions. such as love, hate, anger, past screw ups. But in no way does emo involve kids cutting themselves, or wearing tight jeans, or scarfs or any of that crap. emo started as a style of music, and has now turned into a degrading form of self expression. i hate what emo has turned into...because in fact, most bands nowadays can be classified as emo, but people are just too used to thinking emo is, black hair, tight pants, and all that. IT ISN'T!!!!!!!
