Dissplain: a portmanteau of the words "Disrespect" and "Explain". v. The act of explaining something, esp. certain experiences and/or particular issues to a person or group of people who are more experienced or knowledgeable of said issues, (usually in a condescending, patronizing and disrespectful manner) from the perspective of one who lacks the experience and/or expertise of said issues! Dissplaining is usually done by someone with advantages, power or privilege to someone without advantages, power or privilege. This term is similar to "Mansplaining", "Femsplaining", "Whitesplaining", "Churchsplaining", etc.
