Corona

1. Classic Mexican beer that most people think of when thinking about Mexican beer. Seems exotic due to commercials and it being "imported" but really, its just a cheap beer. Most bars or restaurants will make this a staple of happy hour deals (esp. during cinco de mayo or "taco tuesday") underlying its cheapness. Has a "tinny" aftertaste. 2. A city in Southern California that boomed in the laste nineties/early 2000's due to rampant real estate development. Many of its inhabitants moved here from LA/OC because they couldnt afford to live in their respective cities any longer or just wanted to buy a larger house for a smaller amount of money. The city is characterized by "cookie cutter" houses and manicured lawns and parks that just seem to spring up from nowhere. Its a classic, soulless suburbia that seems to disgust city dwellers who demand their city buildings to be built with "character". Most residence are conservative, which is proven by the abundant amount of pro republican/anti-democrat and "NOTW" bumper stickers all over the family SUVs that clog the streets. Speaking of cars, most people from corona dont know how to drive courteously and are notorious rubberneckers when an accident occurs. Most residence seem to be proud of this city even though its well despised by those in the OC or LA for being too far away from anything worthwhile, such as a beach or culture.
