An ideology purported by Karl Marx in the 19th century. Karl Marx's "utopia" is often misunderstood by today's supporters of socialism. Karl Marx posited that the workers must overthrow their oppressors, but he goes on to argue that those workers would in turn become the oppressors. In other words, it's an endless cycle of violence, and that notion is called "Marxist History". The idea that all of human history has been a class struggle is held by many Marxist historians, and Marx himself, and just because some dirty workers overthrow a company doesn't mean utopia will magically occur.
