A highly intense sport in which a group of teenage girls (or boys) spin various objects most notably flags rifles and sabers. They are often not given the credit they desierve though anyone who has "show how easy it was to be in guard" has quickly realised that it not only requires immense skill but a shit load of guts. Unlike the band they preform year round in outdoor and indoor venues. As a member of the Drumline I would give my highest respect to the guard.
