Carolina Girl
A girl from South or North Carolina who not only originates from the Carolinas but acknowledges her heritage and accepts it. There's also a great song called "Carolina Girl" by General Johnson and The Chairman of the Board. Oh, and by the way, the Carolina girl from the song does not refer exclusively or even most often to North Carolina girls. I've usually heard it applied to South Carolina.
