A Betty in the post 1970's HOT ROD Culture is a generally young woman who dresses in a retro semi erotic style somewhat emulating Betty Page. Betty's consider themselves a sub culture. One often hears them speaking to one another in a specialized slang and its not uncommon to hear things at the Toluca Lake Bobs Big Boy such as "I felt I was the only person like me in the world till I got to Burbank and saw all the other Betty's on the street. then I knew I was home." Much as gay people described arriving in Silverlake in say 1977. Bettys tend to dress retro, wear 1940's hair styles often with bangs, usually have tattoos, and tend to date older men who own one or more Hot Rod or Custom. It is not unusual for Bettys in this context to be leather submissives or to be Bliss Babes, Cuckqueans and or cuckcakes.

My wife bought this for me, my only thing about the shirt, is the big Vernon on the front. I think I would prefer it situated and smaller type as if overva pocket. Other than that I love it. Seems to be of good quality and easy wearability, but I have only tried it on, so am uncertain. Thank you for making my day
