While this explanation fits occult symbolism, it’s debated due to weak linguistic evidence. - Invented Symbol: Some scholars suggest Baphomet was a purely fabricated term designed to evoke mystery or spiritual ambiguity, later embraced by occultists like Eliphas Lévi.
