Two girls by the names of keaten and andrea made up the subculture of arternitive in early 2005. while we dont know exactly how it started, arternitive has become a gerneral discription of apreciating art, splashes of emo, a flair of alternative, and a little classic rock to mix in. they can be defined by staying in small numbers, scarves, converse, and un-brushed long hair, band shirts, mini skirts, and flats, crazy colors and a flash of bisexuality.
