Arella is the mother of Raven, a DC superhero and is commonly identified for her role in the Teen Titans TV show. Arella met Raven's father, Trigon (a demon) disguised as an extremely handsome man. After raping her, Trigon revealed his true self to Arella. Horrified, Arella later found that she was pregnant with his child. She knew that the best place to keep her child as well as everyone else safe was with the priests of Azerath, a place sorta halfway in reality. Note: Trigon is NOT Satan, he's just sort of a demon-king thing
