Word that came from japanimation which was a style of animation that originated in japan but soon americans started using the style and to compensate, anime was used to substitute for the name of the style. Usually containing Large eyes,pointy noses, exaggerated expressions, and small mouths or more detailed characters and backgrounds Animes range from childish to mature to even "x" rated shows and have shows that contains just about every category: action, comedy, mystery, horror, romance, etc. Most animes contain perverted old men used for comical sense i.e. DragonBall, Naruto, Chrno Crusade The better animes usually contain large complex plots with unexpected twists, character development, and highly detailed drawings. Just because you dont like something doesnt mean you have the right to flame it; thats like saying its okay for racists to be racists which obviously isnt okay
