Alot
The Alot is an imaginary creature used as a coping mechanism used by lovers of proper grammar. Instead of becoming angry at the incorrect use of 'a lot' found throughout the internet, the Alot allows the grammar-lover to imagine a sentence that actually makes grammatical sense. The Alot looks like a cross between a bear, yak and a pug dog, and was created by the author of Hyperbole and a Half. Original description (with pictures) can be found there.
