A Cephalon is an ancient sentient being with multiple brains in Star Wars lore. A single Cephalon contains many simple intelligences which control the body's appendages and other physical movements while also collecting information to send to the main brain of the Cephalon. The main brain is the only one able to conceptualize information and can perceive the universe in four dimensions. 3. A sentient AI intelligence in the popular MMO, Warframe. There are many Cephalons throughout the game with the most known being your ship's Cephalon, Ordis. Cephalons serve many various purposes such as ship navigation, knowledge acquirement, and general assistance. It is implied that Cephalons were first created by the Orokin in order to serve them throughout their lives. Cephalons take on human-like traits and personalities and can even act on their own intentions if need be.
