Similar to "The closet," where people hide in their true identities, not wanting ridicule for being aligned with the identity openly. Specifically used to describe where gay people hide, while they pretend to be straight in the open world. Living in the closet eventually causes internal combustion and is typically ineffective, to boot. The TRUMPCLOSET: Where Trump supporters/voters lurk, in shadows. They didn't have lawn signs up; they didn't show up in all polls. Women especially prone to being Trumpcloseted given option to elect a Hillary Clinton, the first woman president. People in the Trumpcloset can be very dramatic in efforts to hide identities. Supporters could have been all #ImWithHer, flamboyantly sashaying down the streets while really thinking and believing, the ignorant, political, anti-everything hate-speech jibberish typical of those in the Trumpcloset, e.g., "I heard Obama made it a law or something that if women don't vote for the bitch they'll be arrested." Some current Trumpcloseters are trying to dial down the growing depth and breadth of collective horror, listening and cluck-clucking platitudes.
