Weegan is middle American term derived from the union of "weed", marijuana, and vegan, the practice of not consuming any animal derived products. It means, in the colloquial, "it's not vegan, but there's weed in it!" The practice of weeganism arose with the belief that the THC of marijuana acts as a catalyzing agent, and effectively cleanses the dish of any offending animal products, thus rendering it safe for consumption.
