1. A term used in the Playstation 2 game "Heroes of the Pacific". Upon activating warspeed, your aircraft would run into overdrive, increasing speed and producing a howl that sounded like the engine was beating itself to death. 2. In a relevant activity, particularly in studying and doing homework, no matter how fatigued or drained, calling upon a reserve of energy within which throws your body and mind into overdrive; Metaphorically attaining a state of productivity only possible during a time of "war".
