Voyeuriewer is a compounded word which blends voyeur and viewer. A voyeuriewer is a person who chooses to watch a discussion on a social medium site without engaging in that discussion. The decision to not participate may be due to the person's reluctance to reveal a controversial or unpopular point of view. At other times the voyeuriewer knows it is fruitless to engage in what turns out to be a surrealistic, pointless discourse after a discussion thread has been hijacked by one or more trollopaths.
