turban dave
Turban dave is a gambling side bet in a game of snooker and sometimes pool. If a player is in a snooker or tight spot he may ask his opponent "how about a turban dave" this means the placing of a wager at even money that the player will not only get out of the tight spot or snooker - but also pot the object ball they are aiming for. The bet is forfeited if after the object ball is potted any foul is made. It can be agreed before the game commences that the person who is snookered can request a turban dave side bet and it cannot be refused by his or her opponent.
