The word appears to have come about at the suggestion of a French doctor at the end of the 19th century. Trichotillomania.—This name is proposed by M. Recently my brother and I were talking about the Trawna Maple Leafs. I decided to look it up and sure enough there is was Trawna the city I grew up in. Now who has the last laugh.
