It is where someone is such an asshole you cannot deal with it. They talk shit about you and others, and if you get into an argument, you are the one blamed for it and they always win. They need an attitude check. Their names are usually Jessica, Edward, Karen or Callan. They want to be in charge of what you do, what you say, and even what you think. They freak out when you disagree with them, and won’t stop trying to convince you that they are right and you should do what they say.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
