A term made up by 14 year old white queers on twitter, in which if you say anything about trans issues or even gay issues you are completely wrong and invalid because you’re tme, or trans misogyny exempt. The truth? Everyone faces trans misogyny to some extent. A trans man wearing a dress is being shamed for wearing a dress. Do trans women have it hard? DEFINITELY. But this term is simply obsessed with whatever genitals you were born with even tho your gender identity has nothing to do with your crotch. Plus, for axab people (which is common in many Native American tribes and intersex folk) being transfem or transmasc doesn’t apply very easily, so there is often a disconnect between tme / tma terms.
