A THINGS-ite is a fan of the cult classic canuxploitation feature film THINGS which was originally released on VHS in 1989 and has been re-released by Intervison Pictures Corp on July 12th, 2001 The term THINGS-ite was originally coined by super THINGS fan Steve Szczepaniak of Fenlon Falls, Ontario who referred to himself in a message to star of the movie Barry J. Gillis as a THINGS-ite. Gillis quickly realized that all fans of the movie from that point on would be known as THINGS-ites.
