The Klein Effect
A subset of the Streisand Effect (trying to hide information, resulting in greater awareness of the information), the Klein Effect is when an effort to bring down a peer's career only results in elevating them to greater success, usually damaging one's own reputation in the process. Named after Ethan Klein, a content creator who frequently tries to get his perceived enemies kicked off their platforms, only for those enemies to gain a larger following and mainstream recognition for their work, while his viewership and reputation circles the drain.
