Synpton Mug
Definition A member of a group that has missed a group activity or experience, and due to that feels isolated. Often the member is referred to as a synpton at the moment when the missed activity or experience is brought up or discussed. Explanation An individual can be part of a group just as every other person in that given group. The group to speak of could require qualifications or could simply be constructed of a bond between its members. The details regarding the construction of the group are not important at hand. What is important, is to say that all members of the group remain equally part of the group, with no one person being more of the group than another. With that established, at a given activity, conversation, or time, a member may often feel isolated from the group due to a lack of common past activities or experiences performed by the group. This is what is now known as a synpton. A symptom is not a single person in a given group, rather a title noun referred to when appropriate. Quite often, the same member of a group can become referred to as the synpton. This can frequently be due to that member’s dedication to their career or school, physical location, or natural habits.
