The fear of the superior. Society is sometimes afraid of making things better because people think there is always a limit after which more is bad. (Even though for positivity itself more is obviously always good. Better is always better. That's logic.) Also people are afraid of people being superior. Thinking of yourself as superior is being viewed as a bad thing in general, even if it's true. That's superiophobia.
