Note that the term "stereotype" will not be applied to overly simplified and probable generalizations that are either supportive of progressive policy conclusions, or demonize/dismiss the opposition. Examples of these include: "All Republicans are older, wealthy white men." "Trump supporters are uneducated and uninformed." "Women don't make as much as men because of institutionalized sexism."
