Spong IPA: spɒŋis an antiqated term describing the miasma that emanates from a parasite infested bootyhole. Common endoparasites taking up residence in the bootyhole environment can include various species of helminths and nematodes, the generators of spong. Being somewhat cursed in its nature, spong will easily impregnate porous surfaces like silicone and form an intricate biofilm matrix throughout. It can also be used as a verb. If the host of said parasites engages in behaviours which further spread the spong, it can be said they have been “sponging” spɒŋɪŋ or that they have “sponged” spɒŋd a person, object, or region
