Slide rape use in prevalent among inexperienced presenters, although the phenomenon is gradually becoming a universal feature of any Powerpoint presentation. Anyone also trying to make the audience confused in order to avoid difficult questions at the end, or make themselves seem more intelligent may appeal to slide rape. The technique is also known as slide-gang bang, is somewhat similar in nature to sentence rape often used by novice English writers.
