Simp

1. A derogatory term referring to a person, typically male but can also be female, who has an unrequited crush on a content creator, character or celebrity (typically female). The simp usually donates money to their crush, has pictures of them posted on their wall and some write fanfiction of them. They do not take criticism to their crush well and will defend them constantly in hopes of gaining the crush’s affections. 2. A word children use to describe any male who interacts even slightly positively with a female. Men who are just friends with women, who hold doors open for them out of politeness or even just shows common decency toward them are at risk of being called a simp.
