silly

the normal definition is an adjective to describe someone or something flawed, humorous, etc. However, it has become sort of a slang word, usually used by furries and therians under the age of consent. i’m not even trying to be rude about this but you can literally point out a furry or therian if they comment something using this word and the “:3” emoticon. anyways one time i saw a furry make this comment (he’s so silly :3) about a sex offender. it was a fictional sex offender, but real or not, it’s like they justified his actions because “silly.” When used as slang, the meaning of the word “silly,” similar to the traditional definition, usually means that something is cute and quirky. But online, as i have mentioned, it’s an easy way to spot a furry or therian because it appears in their vocabulary at least once. Sorry this is so long but they also use it to make neurological conditions such as autism and adhd seem cute, funny, and/or quirky.
