A Perfect Circle was a side project of Tool singer Maynard James Keenan Zakk Wylde launched his own side project out of Ozzy Ozbourne's band, which later became Black Label Society. Gorillaz was originally a side project for all of its members, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Damon of Blur, and Dan The Automator. The latest incursion of this is Institute featuring Gavin Rossdale of Bush and the former members of Helmet.
