Shawn
Shawn is a very selfless, caring guy with a great personality and the biggest heart. He is confident, loyal, driven, passionate, knows what he wants, and will go to any length to accomplish his goals. And he sees great success in doing so! There aren’t many people out there like Shawn, and that’s what makes him so intriguing. He is charismatic but can be awkward at times - but it only adds to his charm and allure. He can be reckless at times but never to the point where it will put you or his future in jeopardy. He has a lot of friends but keeps his circle small because he values true friendship so earnestly. At times Shawn can seem intimidating and rude, but it is only a front. He is not afraid to tell you how it is and can be extremely blunt and straightforward but that is just part of his honest nature. He is really just a big teddy bear and only has the best intentions in mind. If you ever meet a Shawn and he gives you the chance to be his friend, always take it. Never take him for granted. Because there is truly no one else like Shawn.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
