'Shafted' is a segment on Are You*th Being Served? a youth engagement radio show that runs on switch 1197 in Brisbane, Australia. It came from an arranged interview between the shows hosts and the Beaconsfield Miners and was confirmed only 2 hours prior to said interview. The Beaconsfield Miners became famous in 2006 when stuck down a mine 'shaft' for 2 weeks and hence why the segment is appropriately named 'shafted'. The show now actively seeks interviews with famous people when the ultimately know they will be 'shafted' for that interview.
