School
A child labor law violation that has not became illegal yet. Or in other words, just a hellhole that drags children in and forces them to sit in uncomfortable plastic chairs and listen to teachers drone on about different things that most of us wont use in our everyday lives. Heres an example. The schools celebrate Columbus day in which the day where Christopher Columbus discovered America some 2000 years ago. But, if America was discovered 2000 years ago, what was the land called when the Native Americans arrived? Thats right my intellectualls and non-intellectuals. AMERICA. School tells lies and or things we will never use. Take this example. Johnny always wanted to be a bus driver. He became a bus driver when he was older. Did he need to know how to divide fractions? No. Did he need to know what a predicate was? No. Did he need to know what atoms and molecules are? No. School is a waste of time and energy. Kids should be working on things that will actually benefit them in the long run, rather than just one specific career that they may or may not choose to do.

We began to use atomic energy as a nearly limitless source of power. People enjoyed luxury once thought in the realm of science fiction. Domestic robots, fusion powered cars, portable computers. Then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American dream. Years of consumption led to the shortages of every major resource. The entire world unraveled. Peace became a distant memory. It is now the year 2077, and we stand on the brink of total war, and I am afraid, for myself, for my wife, for my infant son, because if my time in the army taught me one thing; is that war, war never changes.
Excellent satire - didn't see comments to that end, so find it hard to fathom if most readers, in turn, didn't laugh out loud, and say so. But apparently not.
