A scenester is a type of faze that most teenagers and preteens go thru, it's based off with colorful clothing, a certain music genre and lastly a certain personality, scenes are like the colorful goths, while some scene kids are in it for fashion, others are in it because of the time they are going thru in their lives. Scene Fashion: Anything colorful and funky seems to be in with scenes, while some scenes don't dress up as colorful as most scenes, others will want to go for a full effect, so basically colorful bracelets, baseball caps, shoes, t-shirts, and pants will be spotted on a scene. Hair: Most scene girls will make their hair big on the front and small on the back, but aside from that most scene girls will wear colorful hair, if not, dye it white or light blonde depending on their liking, different colored hair pieces may also be used among them, as for boys, well, i'm not sure, they will maybe dye their hair blue, green, or keep it natural. Personality: Most scenes according to most people have a dried up and boring personality, but overall, I think it depends, most scenes will be happy, others sad, others boring, and others fun, it really depends.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
