These definitions are getting far too similar to those of emo. Scene is, to put it bluntly (and probably ignorantly), a mixture of indie and emo. They tend to listen to new-rave, electro or alternative music, for example you go on any scene kid's myspace and you hear people like the presets, the teenagers, neon plastix, dan le sac vs scroobius pip etc. They like to wear clothes not dissimilar from emo clothes but with a happier more childish edge. And they go to gigs and dance, like all the other indie kids etc. so really it's just another teenage stereotype.
