Scare Question
A scare question is a question that appears on a review sheet or other study materials, and hasn't been formally taught in class yet. It gets its name from the unreasonable panic that students go into when they are encountered on study sheets. Often, scare questions don't appear on the exams that the review sheets or study materials are designed to aid people on. If a scare question DOES appear on the test, it goes by the name of "Panic Question". Scare questions often spark fear and insecurity when encountered by students. They will feel as though they aren't good enough, or smart enough, or will fail the exam. As such, scare questions pose a significant threat to student's success, especially when they appear on practice quizzes. That's why it's important to verify that questions on study materials are from the actual topics of the test.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.

What's funny is the saying that everyone searched for is the one that popped up on the cup. So all the weird gross sayings that people are commenting on are completely out of context to everyone seeing their comment.
