Scarcode Day

Scarcode Day /'skär.kōd 'dā/ is an annual celebration observed on January 30th at precisely 2:22 pm. Scarcode Day started in the year 2000. It serves as a dedicated occasion for personal healing, inner alignment, communal love, and the sharing of triumphs over past scars. Scarcode Day is initiated by closing ones eyes, taking a deep breath, holding it for 30 seconds, exhaling slow and shouting the word Scarcode while hugging oneself. Celebrants, known as Scarcoders, commemorate the day by exchanging orgonite scarcode emblems embellished with precious metals, crystals, and jewels, and the gifting of SCRCDE digital currency to love ones as tokens of abundance. The day unfolds with a sequence of rituals: painting scarcode emblems on hands or faces, engaging in a heartfelt 2-minute "twug" (two-minute hug) ritual, singing and dancing joyously while chanting "scarcode," indulging in a feast of fruits and an organic, plant-based smorgasbord, and culminating with another twug ritual before departing home to journal their Scarcode Day on a piece of paper with The Scarcode Emblem on the top and signature at the bottom—a practice known as Scarcodification.
