When you point out that it's just kind of hot and dry and actually the weather sucks, and so do the restaurants, and also everyone there is stupid, they get really mad and confused that other places exist. San Diego is LA if LA had a self-esteem problem. San Diego is San Francisco after global warming and if everyone suddenly forgot how to read.
