It is one of the best Science Colleges in India, especially in Mumbai. Ruparel College is certified as an A grade college, the third highest rating, indicating an institutional score of 85-90 on a 100 point scale, by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. Its most recent assessment by the NAAC was in 2002-2003. Ruparel College has 64 permanent teachers and 23 ad hoc teachers. Of its permanent teachers, 22 hold Ph.D. degrees. Several faculty members are engaged in original research in Economics, English, Philosophy, Psychology, Chemistry, Botany, Physics, Mathematics, and Zoology. Ruparel attracted attention when it began producing a string of merit list winners, beginning in the early 1980s. In 2005, three of the top ten student merit list winners, and three of the top ten faculty merit list winners, for the Maharashtra State Mumbai division were from Ruparel. Ruparel has been recommended by education consultants as the best college in Mumbai for science. Prominent alumni of Ruparel College include: Ajit Agarkar, cricketer Ramakant Desai, cricketer Antara Mali, actress Aishwarya Rai, actress and Miss World of 1994

Holy Cow, when I ordered the mug I mistakenly googled flenching instead of fetching! My wife and German Shepard compete in AKC canine agility competition and our German Shepherd won the fetching competition.
