The act of buying out a full Van Cleef & Arpels boutique, then returning home and getting your partner to strip naked and wear every single piece of jewelry for you to just look at and admire them. Stems from an act in the early 1900s by members of the Sykes family whilst on a honeymoon who lived at Sledmere estate (located in North Yorkshire, England) at the time.
