Pub rock, noun. This is generic, classic rock generally played in a pub on a friday or saturday night by a group of middle aged men. Generally cover songs but sometimes orginial work. Songs tend to be by bands like Whitesnake, Deep Purple, The Jimi Hendrix Experience but have also been known to play songs from the 80's hair metal and glam metal scenes, with bands like Motley Crue and Van Halen appearing.
