When someone who has no friends makes a Facebook profile. They have no friends to add on Facebook, so therefore they make fake profiles on Facebook to add as "friends", so it doesn't look like they don't have friends in real life. It also works if a girl/boy makes a fake profile to be in a relationship with on Facebook, or if a boy/girl adds random people just to have friends.
